Coaching

— Do you need an outside eye for a self tape?

— Do you need 30 minutes, an hour or more to work on lines with collaborative coaching before going into the room?

— Do you speak French and need support with your accent for an English audition…or vice versa?

— Do you want to want to keep working your creative muscles to feel confident and ready when you next go into the room?

“I know how easy it is to feel lost and isolated in this industry. We can get caught up in what we think the industry wants and forget about why we wanted to become an actor in the first place.  I can support you in finding your creative spark. I can help you lean into your instincts, make bold choices and be ever so confident in your auditions and work that you will begin to value process and progress over hustle and booking but you most likely will book roles in the meantime.”

I work holistically with intention, breath and presence. I encourage the actor to start where they are in any given moment; every emotional state is informative and useful. I support the actor in building trust in themself, in their impulses and choices. I create an environment that is safe and generous where the actor feels empowered.

“I have used Kathleen’s coaching services to fine tune my acting auditions to get into theatre school. I am proud to say that I have been one of Kathleen’s first students, and that, thanks to her, I am now a part of Dawson College’s acting program.”

I’ve been working multiple hours a week on acting, posture and preparation for auditions and tv shows/movies with her and there are always some very interesting points made in our sessions! Thank you Kathleen!”

“I was wondering how I was going to get back into acting. Kathleen is a lovely coach :D She helped question myself on the intentions I wanted to lay in my various performances and connect to the characters I portrayed with my mind and body. With her empathy and years of experience in the industry, she is great for people of all backgrounds and levels that are looking to develop their skill set. What are you waiting for ?! 😁”

  • "I came to Kathleen seeking guidance with material that had a lot to ask of me, and through her intuitive, generous exercises, she put me in the perfect state of body and heart to let vulnerability out through my voice and my eyes. This has always been a tricky line for me to walk, and her coaching made quick and artistically gratifying work of it!

Kathleen empowered me to arrive at new discoveries through playful takes, and to hone my vocal control through breathwork and body connection, which an overthinker can always benefit from."

  • Kathleen has been an incredible mentor.

Kathleen has been an incredible mentor. She's given me a new toolbox of exercises for movement, breath, voice, and improv. When I bring in new texts to work on, her thoughtful questions help me cut out the noise and hone in on the crux of the story. She prepared me for my audition to the National Theatre School, and I'm ecstatic to say I got in. Thank you, Kathleen!

  • Kathleen’s public speaking coaching session was a game changer for me.

I used to get flustered during work presentations and constantly lose my train of thought, which really affected my confidence.

In our session, she gave me practical, easy-to-use techniques that help me ground myself and pull my thoughts back on track. I’ve already noticed a huge difference in how I communicate.

Her coaching is supportive, insightful, and truly transformative. I can’t recommend her enough.
